WHAT ABOUT THE TOPIC "SECURITY"?
The rope course is built and certified according to EN 15567-1. This is the European one Safety standard for rope courses. The safety system is a so-called "class E safety system" - this is the highest safety class. All our Trainers are of course trained according to EN 15567-1 and DIN SPEC 31060. So they can save if necessary and know what they are doing. We work with our own COVID-19 prevention concept and according to the two standards "Rope Gardens at times of the COVID-19 crisis" and "Framework concept for corona protection measures for staff and guests in connection with the reopening of climbing parks in Austria" by two court-sworn experts.
FROM WHAT AGE I AM ALLOWED TO CLIMB IN THE ERLEBNISIWALD ALTENMARKT?
From 4 years and accompanied by two adults, it is possible to climb all courses. From the age of 10 you can climb alone under the supervision of an accompanying person. The presence of the accompanying person is mandatory - but no longer climbing.
WILL THE TRAINER CLIMB WITH ME?
No. The adventure forest Altenmarkt is a self belay park. You will receive training in our safety technology and then climb independently and responsibly. If you need help, there is a trainer on site, who will help you or save you in an emergency.
DO I HAVE TO PAY ENTRY IF I'M NOT CLIMBING?
No. However, children and young people up to the age of 14 must be actively (climbing) supervised, ie the persons caring for them must also climb and thus pay the fees. away 15 to 18 years of age can climb without "climbing" supervision, but at least one responsible adult must be present at the bottom.

MAY I SMOKE IN THE AREA OF ERLEBNISWALD ALTENMARKT?
No. Yours, ours and the health of our forest are very important to us. Therefore, smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire area. We also want to counteract the littering of the forest. Furthermore, the wonderful smell of the forest is part of the "experience" of the forest. We ask you to respect this!
DO I NEED PREVIOUS SKILLS TO CLIMB?
No. The courses are designed progressively and can be walked without any problems without previous experience.
WHICH CLOTHING IS THE RIGHT ONE?
Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing are enough to climb with us. Long hair is tied in a ponytail.
CAN I BRING MY DOG TO THE FACILITIES?
Yes. However, dogs must always be kept tight on a leash. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
DO YOU HAVE TOILETS?
Yes. We have toilets. .
DO YOU HAVE DRINKS AND SOME FOOD?
Yes! But only small things. Bottled juices as well as ice. Not far from us (about 10 minutes walk) is an inn "Neuhäusel", which is happy if you stop by for a lunchtime snack.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD / DRINKS FOR A SNACK?
Yes, but everything that you bring into nature - also in our forest - you also take back. Any packaging / bottles brought please dispose properly.
CAN I CLIMB WHILE DRUNK AND/OR UNDER THE EFFECT OF DRUGS?
No. As soon as we notice that a guest is acting strange in a certain manner, he/she will be expelled from the area. Climbing - no matter what height - requires concentration and mindfulness.
HOW DO I GET TO YOU?
You can get to us easily by bike or on foot from Altenmarkt - a path meanders beautifully flat along the stream. Or you can use public transport - the nearest bus stop is "Hochbifang" (cable car valley station). This is diagonally opposite of the Erlebniswald Altenmarkt - approx. 5 minutes walk. If If you come by car, you can park directly in front of our entrance (10 parking spaces).
